I’m finding that as my life gets busier, it’s also getting harder to do much shopping other grabbing groceries. There’s something about bundling up the children, getting them in and out at each stop and trying to keep them happy and behaved that just kind of takes the wind out of my sales when I think about shopping. I’ll occasionally run out in the evening while my husband stays home with the children, but I don’t like doing that often because then we have no time together as a family. Anyone else relate?
My solution has been to do more online shopping. And many times, I end up getting what I need from Target.com. Not only do I love their stuff, their prices are usually competitive and I can get free shipping on any order!
How do I do that? It’s really easy! I use my Target REDCard (they even had a debit card option). Not only does my REDCard give me free shipping on any order, no matter how small, it gives me other bonuses too. I save an extra 5% off every single purchase that I make, in-store or online and I get an extra 30 days to return unwanted purchases too! I don’t know about you, but I’m always into saving money and with as busy as life can be, extra time for anything is always great.
This whole free shipping thing has been such a lifesaver for me! Just recently I realized that our daughter’s Sunday shoes were too small. With all that we had going, I knew there was no way that I’d be able to get anywhere to shop for new ones for at least a good 1 ½ weeks. So I hopped onto Target.com and, thanks to a sale, was able to find her a pair for under $10. In just a couple of minutes time, I had a cute pair of shoes headed straight to my door for no extra cost. I love it and it has truly been such a blessing to me!
Do you do a lot of online shopping? What is your favorite way to save?
