It’s that time of year again where I’m looking back over the last 12 months of my work here on the blog and figuring out what things went well and what things bombed.  I always love seeing which posts were the most popular with you all because it’s so interesting and insightful.  And since you all seemed to enjoy my roundup of the most popular frugal living blog posts last year, I thought I’d do another post with this year’s best posts too!

At first glance, this post might not even seem like a money saving post.  But my goal in writing it was to help people find meals that wouldn’t heat their kitchen and as a result would not only keep them more comfortable, but also save money too, since in theory, by using these recipes they wouldn’t need to work as hard to cool down their house.  Apparently there are a lot of you that don’t like the heat any more than I do, because over the course of the summer this post quickly became a big favorite and got a ton of traffic!
